Andrew Garth, a Brightonian and local historian, has created Aladdin's cave of Brighton, Hove and Sussex history. an ehperema of pictures, maps, from a bygone era. The shop is based in one of the city's main shopping districts of Hove and can be found at 28 Western Road, Hove, East Sussex, and it is visited by enthusiasts, residents and tourists alike. It plays an important role in promoting Brighton's unique identity and giving people an opportunity to look and purchase pictures, maps, books and postcards. Brighton and Hove Stuff is the guardian of the Argus Photo Archive.  The website has galleries of pictures from 1929 to 1992 which are the the original press images photographed across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. The photo archive has many thousands of pictures, places, people, events and is constantly being updated.  All the press images can be purchased mounted or unmounted by mail order or collection at the shop. The digitised glass plates are only available as a digital download. Debit & credit cards are accepted and details of delivery will be given to you via the secure buy on line service.  They are available for personal and commercial use, please check the format and copyright use when purchasing.
